les Favets
Two yers ago we found a Gite owner who specialised in organising a 5 day Christmas and a separate 5 day New years eve house party. We would be interested to learn if any of you Gite owners do a similar holiday break.Regards Les Favetswww.ruralfranceholidays.com
nimportequoi
Do you mean laying on all the entertainment, or just renting out for those periods? I rent out for a minimum of 3 nights Christmas and New Year and the gites are always fully booked (French clients, not UK) but I don't provide entertainment/food etc.
les Favets
Good evening Susan, Thank you for your reply. I was thinking on the lines of a " House Party" where the owner is the host and organises all facilities over a set period of days ie 5 days to include all meals, and as the previous one we went to. Indoor soft ball tennis- blind badmington - snooker table - outside target shooting - evening meals with various games - New years Eve : meal, dancing, local wine grower wine tasting - free time to visit local towns and markets , to name some of the functions that were put on.
