Clair
To make our next door paying guests feel they're not spied on ([;-)]), we usually have two or three tall ficus plants to shield their terrace from our front door and which gives both parties a semblance of privacy. This year again, I have managed to kill the ones we had bought last year, as I had the year before and the year before that...[:(]Fed up with shelling out once more, I have decided to replace them with good looking and realistic large artificial plants. Does anyone have any recommendation or advice?
Suze01
How about having Bambou in pots or large troughs. Pretty indestructable and provides a good screen. Quite a variety available too - I have an enormous bambou in the garden that has glossy black canes, it moves beautifully in the wind and has the bonus of being able to harvest the canes to use in the potager!
