free furniture

I am just making an tentative inquiry if anyone needs some free

furniture which is nearly new. We live near Mouthe in the Doubs,

Franche comte and we are moving to Switzerland. The house we are buying

is furnished , I want to replace it with some of my furniture from

France. Basically I have been landed with 2 houses of furniture. There

is a mixture of single beds, double beds, wardrobes, side

table,shelves, tables small and long, I also have a dishwasher. If you

would be interested and can come and collect it then you can have it

for free. We won't be moving until the spring Feb/March 2008. I have

some photos of the furniture in situe but would suit someone setting up

home or Gite. Also there will some free furniture from the Swiss house,

this will be sideboads, garden furniture tables, chest of drawers,

chairs, beds etc.. We are moving to Vercorin which is about 2 hours

from Geneva and 2 1/2 hours from the French house. If we arrange a time

you can come with a van and fill up in France and fill up in

Switzerland. I can send photos and if interested give you an exact list

of what is available. it is all tasteful stuff, simple and plain from

IKEA, ATLAS not cheap and nasty.

Carlotte thats a very generous offer, if you have trouble (which im sure you wont ) getting rid of the stuff why dont you contact your Marie and see if there is a young or old couple in your area who might need it .

We also have a house full of stuff that was left for us by the people we brought from we are keeping it until we have done all the work we want to do on the house then will replace it. Our plan was to put it out the front of the house with a sign saying "Free to a good home " which is what we have done in England, It dissappears very quickly. Any one know the french version of this saying ?[:)]
