IHaveaQuestion
I live in a rented house and have to move out for 2 weeks whilst some work is carried out. The agency has agreed with the insurance they will pay up to 300 euros per week for a Gite. Is this enough around the Caen area and from what day to what do we get the Gite?thanks. Jo Taylor
Depends what time of year, what size gite, its location... If it's not high season, and you don't need a huge place, 300€ per week should be plenty. Most people's changeover day is Saturday, but many will accommodate other requirements off-season.Why not simply find one in the right area and contact the owner - most people advertise their rental rates and specify changeover day.
