Polly Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 It's not for me, but as the painful topic of hourly rates for gardening as been covered before can I suggest you give some more info such as:How much grass?Using your machinery or is the gardener to bring his/her own?Is it for once a month, or just before the place is let, or what? Richard51 Posted June 1, 2010 Author Share Posted June 1, 2010 Sorry Polly! We have an electric mower and electric hedge trimmers (plus extension cables etc). The area is ~1000m2 lawned enclosed garden. The house is let regularly over the July / August so it's a regular trim to keep it tidy. The hedge is laurel (and only at the front of the house) so will only need trimming, maybe, twice a year. I'm guessing the size of garden shouldn't affect the rate per hour though?
