Steph
I wanted to check, think I read somewhere that as an artisan it is a legal requirement to have a fire extinguisher on your business premises. Am I going mad or is this right? Thanks in advanceStephwww.pwb53.com

La Guerriere
But it's a very cheap precaution. Little powder extinguishers are very inexpensive, we've got them in both Oxfordshire and Manche and in both cars. Watch expiry date though. When they get near expiry date, have fun and try to put out the bonfire.
Jc
The powder in most Powder extinguishers tends to settle particularly if mounted in a vehicle in an upright position. They need shaking regularly. When they have passed their "use-by" date, practise on a bonfire as said above. You might get them to work.
