tarnaddict
I have been told that the new regs also state that a pool must be more the 10/15/20 metres from any boundary (not sure which!) Can anyone confirm if this is so and which distance it is!Thanks
SaligoBay
I certainly hope not! Our pool is a metre from the side fence, and about 2 metres from the back fence. With those rules, we wouldn't be able to have a pool at all in our terraced 700 sq m.
The Riff-Raff Element
Might be area specific, but the regs here (to do with planning, nothing to do with the new laws, which as far as I know don't specify any particular distance) are that the water's edge must be not less than three meters from the property boundry (we added a meter to be on the safe side...). Pushkin
Our pool was installed this year (Dept 17) and had to be 3 metres from the boundary.Sue
