aj_dr
We are installing an above ground pool, does anybody know if the '3m from the boundary' rule apply.Thanksaj
Nick Trollope
No it doesn't. No planning or safety regs appy to above-ground pools, as they are considered portable.
PeterCD
Confirm that no regulations apply for above ground pools.
Lizzie15
No, above ground pools are the way to go for anyone who has problems with distances, refusal of planning permission etc. They can be half sunk in the ground and/or disguised with wood or anything else and all is well!We were lucky in that permission for one pool was granted with no problems but the other one was initially refused, the mayor had to intervene in that one. All's well now

Thanks aj[/quote]Many thanks for your replies, we have spent the last couple of days collecting our pool from Zyke's. The giant Lego is stored in the garage, I'm only waiting for my husband to put down the concrete base (it's long so it's needed), and then off we go installing it!!!!aj
