aqua-sensor alarm sensitivity

My alarm went off when it was windy - the tube is 18cm sumerged as recommended and in a 4.5x10 metre pool.

Re the interrupters inside box do you just try different combinations to reduce sensitivity od do I have to stick a bit of the immersion tube back on ?
