Flowers on pool fence?

I don't know if this has come up before but I would like to hang some plastic troughs with geraniums along the outside top edge of the pool fence, the same sort that you see hanging on the security bars across window openings. This would be to detract from the Colditz appearance of the pool! The question is how does this sit with the rules and regs about pool security. It is my opinion the trough and it's fixings would be too weak and too high to assist a toddler to climb over the fence but maybe someone out there knows better, what think you?...........John not Jackie

I don't know that there ia a specific provision for this but I would

guess that you would be in difficulties with the Flower trays on the

outside of the fence. Inside I would guess to be not a problem in the

least but outside would constite an infringement of the 'no physical

thing, within  1.1 meters'  provision.
