euro Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 hi, Magiline Piscines - they have the pump and filtration kit installed at the end of the pool with a long cartridge filter.I am in the process of obtaining devis etc for a pal and think maybe this will be a cost saving solution,however as i have a pool with traditional sand filter etc i am wondering if the magiline system actually works very well.In the past i helped someone look after a similair pool and i found it to be a little awkward to clean effectively.any pool specialists out there who have maintained these ? or people who have had both ? steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is a fine mesh basket before the filter which catches flies and surface rubbish from the skimmer. The basket is emptied when dirty as if it gets clogged it will slow down the circulation - it depends on what gets into your pool. The cartridge filter has to be lifted out and hosed down once or twice a week. If you leave it too long its harder to clean. We have the salt pool with automatic ph adjustment. Its easy peasy and the water is crystal clear (no I don't sell these pools!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
