Jackie
I want to lay a 100mm pipe along the outside of the pool fence. The fence has a top edge of 130cm above ground level. The pipe will run parallel to the fence and have a spacing of about 40cm from the bottom of the fence. The top surface of the pipe will be 11.5cm above ground level and slightly more than 120cm from the top edge of the fence. Now I have read that nothing must be closer than in an arc of 1.1m from the top of the fence so if that is true then will I be ok if an inspector calls? The pipe is part of an extension to an experimental solar heating system that I am playing with if anyone is interested! Any comments anyone?…….John not Jackie

If it is 40cm away from the fence then you have no problems at all.Richard
