aj_dr
Hi, We opened up our pool last Thursday, water was clear. We tested the PH and that was fine, no chlorine as expected. The pool holds 27 cubic metres of water so we added 14 choc tablets, checked again after they had dissolved, chlorine level still nil. We then added another 6 and after dissolving the reading is still nil. Any ideas on what we are doing wrong??.....and even to put it right!!aj
Poolguy
If you've choced the pool with Pastilles and you are sure that thepastilles are freash (not last years) then there is 'masking chemicalsin your pool. Perhaps at some time in the past you added a productwhich contained hydrogen peroxide. Brand names such as Reva top, oxygenactiv or the like... for if you do have perxide in the pool then you'llnot read any chlorine at all.In which case you need to send me your contact details and I can organise a 'Water Quality Rescue' for you.Andrew
