terryb
We have planning permission to install an in-ground pool in part of our land which is in a "zone rouge d'inondation". The permission says that the pool must be marked with "balisage" to show the location of the pool in the event that the pool is covered with flood water and emergency services need access. We have been unable to find out what form the marking should take - lights on poles, fencing, marker posts or what and how high any markers should be - in order to conform with this requirement. Can anyone offer any advice please.

Albert the InfoGipsy
I'd suggest a post at each corner tall enough to reach a couple of feet above the predicted flood level. If it doesn't make you feel too daft, paint the tops red with the word 'Piscine' in white down the side.
