alex
Without calling in the professionals (which I am told will cost ???? as call out charge) can anyone offer advice? Our pool depth keeps falling to just below the skimmer, any ideas why?

osie
As an absolute novice.. this happened to me last year... I left it till the pool was nearly empty...... not a good idea. The fix was a 5€ bit of plastic over a tiny hole(actually 2 holes) in the liner. and until now things are looking good.In hindsight... I would give the pool a good clean and try to find the hole, if any How... look very carefully..
Poolguy
Or you could employ an electrostatic leak detector....!Now that really would earn you a bill.... but it would certainly find the leak. Andrew
Andy Allen
Did you find your leak Alex.We had exactly the same thing happen to us and on closer examination found the skimmer had a lot of cracks in it, caused because we hadnt drained enough water out over the winter. Big block of ice formed in the skimmer and the damage was done.
