Barry
I have a pool which has a serious leak. I suspect that it is in the pipework somewhere but don't know how to go about finding it. The pool is about 7 years old. The garden below the pool is getting very wet!If the pool is being used normally - with skimmers on and bottom drain in action - then I am losing about 2 .5 cm of water depth in 24 hours. If these are turned off then the water loss reduces to less than 1 cm.Any ideas as to how to go about finding the problem without digging up the entire garden! Barry
Hi Thanks for your help, we are in the Aude. Sorry not to have answered but got called away for work. friends looked after it in my absence and emptied all the water out of the pool box and noticed water coming out from where the sand filter is connected to the box. As all the joints of pipes are dry we think this could be where the leak is from The water comes out faster when the pump is on. Therefore I think I need a new filter?
