chirpy
Hi ,I have a Clearwater electrolyer system installed 8 years ago.in a salt water pool.Today when re -starting pool I noticed an electric spark between the 7 element plates which are 110 m.m long attached to the cap which is screwed into a tube .I stopped the current and removed the screw on cap holding these elements.I found that some had bent towards each other having warped and they were very brittle!I have removed the two broken ones QUESTION 1) Can I still use this equipment safely ? 2)Have been told the replacement is 620euro!!! 3)Since funds are low at the moment can you advise re safety issue before i take the plunge(pun) into savings! although this is not funny to me at the moment.......or perhaps temporily add chlorine table tablets or Javel ?? If latter idea ok what recommended in 60cu.m. pool,10x4.5 metres and how effective over a week's absence? thanks for your quick reply [:(]
