cooperlola
Is there anybody on here who had applied to join the CMU in the interim period between the September announcement and the new one, who was turned down on the basis of the rules as they stood then? If so we would like to hear from you.mail@frenchhealthissues.eu
Lehaut
Not sure it falls exactly in the bracket, but we received our letter kicking us out of the CMU today ( 15 December 2007) from St Lô. We have been here 11 years. In the same envelope was the bill for the new quarter's payment. It invites us to challenge the decision through the CRA. We will certainly do that in a polite sort of way, sending them a copy of their own new rules and pointing out that they came into force on 23 November 2007.Left hand this is Right hand over?? Sunday Driver
I think cooperlola is looking for people applying to join the CMU, not those already in it....[;-)]
cooperlola
S/D has it right, as per. Lehaut, I think you are right and yours is probably just a left hand/right hand co-ordination problem. The date the statement comes into effect bears no relation whatsoever to the date it was published (yesterday)!

cooperlola
Krusty, thanks for that, you have PM. I obviously worded my post badly. We are wondering what happens to anybody who say, arrived here on 5th November without an E form and was turned down because, then, nobody was in theory allowed to join if inactive. However, of course now anybody who was "affiliated to the CMU" before the end of November is allowed to stay in. They should now be OK,but because of the appalling way this has been done, they won't actually be in, will they? Clear as mud?
