Mikec
Are there any clinics in France which "specialise" in screening for breast cancer or cervical cancer? My wife asked our GP (Dept 17) and was told that in this region at least, there is no such thing as routine screening. Instead, one has to ask the GP for a "prescription", then go to a radiologist for the X-ray and to another specialist for the smear test.Is this true of all regions? If so, it makes the UK NHS look not so bad as it is always being painted. But surely so long as it is available at your request it doesn't matter, it's then just down to you to make the effort. Caz
