Lizc
We have written to the DSS to obtain an E106( we 55 and 56) and have received the forms to fill in to get the forms!!!!We have both paid insurance stamps either full or self employed for years but on reading the booklet SA29 paragraph 31 it appears that we may only be entitled to an E106 if we are claiming Incapity Benefit which we are not, surely this can't be true? Can anyone help in how to claim E106?
Wardy
Hello LizCCan I suggest that you telephone the Overseas/EU section in Newcastle. The details will be on your forms. Talk to them about your history and your concerns.I (and many others) have always found the people in this section to be extremely helpful and knowledgable. Based on what you say you shouldn't have a problem. I/We were able to get the usual (up to about 75%) French Medical cover with no real difficulty and had been unnecessarily anxious about it.
