CJAyling
Does anybody have any experience of applying for a Home Carer Service through the local social services? We have a local English couple who have asked us for help. He is 63 and she is 55. He has been her Carer until this year when he suffered 3 heart attacks and now he is incapacited himself and so now they both require home care. He is an ex-teacher, so he has his TPA pension but of course not his state pension (not until 65). She has nothing until she is 60. Any advice would be much appreciated.Chris A
Angela Bird
Could the couple's local Mairie not point you in the right direction perhaps?
DRL
I'm interested in what happens when I get old in France, and can no longer look after myself. Can anyone tell me about residental care, how much it costs on average, do you have to sell your home as you do here. Molly
