Simonmac
I have been a rare sufferer of epilepsy, although the condition is now being controlled by medication. Here in the UK if I were to suffer a fit, I would have to surrender my drivers license for a minimum of 12 month's fit-free.Can anyone tell me what the guidelines are in France (as I'm hoping to live over there permanently), and this is something important I must consider. Many thanks in advance,Simon. Teamedup
From what I can gather you must report that you are epileptic to the necessary authorities. If you haven't had a 'crise' for a year and are being treated then they will more than likely let you drive. And the authorities must be kept informed of any change to the situation. If false declarations are made OR not kept up to date, then it could invalidate your insurance too.Does this help????
