jeannie
Carte Vitale! I applied to Caisse Primaire last summer when I arrived in Normandy having taken early retirement. I have an E106 and in due course received an "attestation"! I have been told by my local office that I do not qualify for a Carte Vitale as I am 'une trangre'! Anyone able to clarify this situation please!
Owen
Hello, It is not that you are a foreigner! It is because E106 has limited life. But if you either obtain E121 or retain your affiliation after the E106 has expired through residence criteria, then you will ber issued with a "carte". It is not really a great deal. The one advantage about the "carte" is that CPAM make any reimboursement automatically a week or so after you have paid the doctor/pharmacy. At the moment you have to post the "feuilles de soins" to CPAM before the refund is executed.Peter Owenpjowen@rivieramail.com
