Sue Smith
Sorry about making this post. I KNOW there was a recent thread on this topic but I can't find it. Maybe the heading isn't obvious? Anyway, hsterectomy in thirties and been taking HRT ever since - oestrogen only - am now 52. Stopped the HRT (Premarin) a few weeks ago and am now going crazy with hot flushes - every half hour/24 hrs. a day. Don't want to return to HRT and would like to find the suggestions made in the earlier posting. Any help gratefully received.Regards,Sue Smith. Jon 1
Have you read the latest American report on oestrogen only therapy. Apparently no increased incidence in breast cancer. A very small increase in stroke. The latter could possibly be prevented with low dose aspirin.Ali
Kazabella
You have my sympathy............I came off HRT last September after 9 years and suffered immediately with the hot flushes, and arn't they AWFUL. I now take soya and wild yam, the latter helping immensley. However, I'm not sure if these can be bought here.......my supply comes from the UK.Kaz
