Opticiens are only glasses makers and dispensers and you need a prescription from the former to go to the latter.All popular specialists are usually booked up ahead and ours currently is about four months,so nothing unusual there. As an added point you will often find that dispensing opticiens in smaller towns are cheaper with their products than your local large town/city and will give you a good service if you keep in with them when there are breakages or repairs to be done.
