Trixipup
I wonder if anyone might be able to help? I am due to have an operation on my knee and have been told via letter from the surgeon's secretary that one of the things I will need to bring with me on the day of admission are a pair of "cannes anglaises". Can anyone help and tell me where I can get a pair of crutches for mobility post-op?Any suggestions gratefully accepted Thanks in advance.Dannie
Kergano
In our small town you can buy or hire them from the pharmacie. In larger towns there are specialist suppliers for such equipment Look in the yellow pages for Handicaps: matrial et services pour. We bought ours as we are just going in for a third knee job! Good luck!ian

It was a pharmacie which specialised in 'appliances'. The ward Sister told us about it and was most helpful with directions and advice.Sue
