TvcamdaveDave & Sue Lawson
Hi AllThis seems the most appropriate area to post this.My wife and I are researching a possible move to France and have a lot of information on the health care side of things but I have not been able to find much about any disability support available from the French system. My wife is on invalidity allowance, payable in France, and Disability Living Allowance, not payable in France. Also I get the Carer's Allowance, also not payable in France. There appears to be support available but where can I get detailed information about it or is anyone here in a similar position and can give me some info.My wife's disabilities are muliple sclerosis and epilepsy which I believe attract 100% payments for health care. Iceni
Hi Dave and SueI cannot help you but wish you all the best with the move. There are facilities available as we have a centre near us in the Lot but I am not sure what this covers.Dihttp://www.iceni-it.co.uk

Teamedup
You would need to look at the CAF web site or phone your CAF office, they deal with benefits. I don't know if there is any aid for the carer's here, there are some allowances for certain sorts of handicaps and the person may well be expected to take care of their care with this.
