I will be comming back to the UK every 2 weeks or so to continue my business here. Should the family register for a Form 106 or should we rely upon Private Healthcare? I assume we will all remain UK residents as the tax year runs from April to April so we will be in UK for more than 183 days in each year.Many thanks anyone who knows! Val_2 Posted July 14, 2004 Share Posted July 14, 2004 As in all cases that are not straightforward, get it from the horses mouth at Newcastle and in writing too.When I first came to France I had an E109 because my husband was still working inthe UK and paying NI for almost a year and that was the limit that the E109 covered myself and two kids for. Whatever you do, don't buy private health care until you get an answer as it will be very very expensive and don't leave home without any cover as that too is expensive if you need care.
