opas
The thought came to me the other day,as I watched the doctor enter our neighbours house(nothing serious ,as it turns out) but is the patient charged more for a home visit than if they visited the surgery? usefull to know with 2 young children...though the cost doesn`t really enter the equation. SaligoBay
Normally, 20 euros to go to the surgery, 30 euros for the doctor to do a home visit.Unless it's a doctor who does dépassements, then it'll cost more.
LesLauriers
I couldn't quote definitive times but the cost to visit a doctor rises to €40 after about 7pm and then to €60 between midnight and I think 7am as I found out to our cost when my daughter was taken ill. Chrissie
Our doctor's surgery has a list of tariffs posted on the wall near the reception desk. There are different charges for different times/days and also it depends on the sort of treatment he is asked for or needs to provide. (I assume this is partly to avoid timewasting calls.)
