Perlats
Thanks to Honeydo I am now the proud possessor of new E111 forms for all my family and eagerly await our new European Health Insurance Cards next year. I asked, in passing at the Post Office, what to do to if we needed to make a claim in the meantime with the new E111s and was told that all we had to do was to give the doctor/hospital or whatever the form we had (keep a photocopy) and we would not have to pay anything. Can this really be true? No payment or claim? I do hope so but it seems a bit too good to be true.
Eleanor REleanor R
www.chicfinance.com
06 15 16 10 04
On the French CPAM website (the equivalence of the NHS) it says that there may be a payment depending on the country in which the medical care is required. Each country will work according to their usual procedure. Happy travelling
