Mustang sally
We have rec or attestations from Caisse Primaire in Niort. What do we do now are these instead of or as well as carte vitals? Does this mean we can now register with a doctor. Help
Tourangelle
It is as well as a carte vitale. You must keep this paper, if ever you need to change your card, or if you lose it, they will ask you for it. You don't need to do anything, it just takes them longer to do a carte vitale than it does for them to print of a piece of paper. If you had to go to hospital, for example, before getting your carte vitale, then this is the piece of paper to show them. If you go to the doctor, however, there is no point in taking it along, you just explain that you are waiting for your carte vitale, and you will be given a form to send to you CPAM, the old fashioned way. If the CPAM has asked you to register with a doctor, then do so, if you don't have to you might want to wait until you need to go and check whether you like the one you see! Teamedup
We have had to use this in hospital when for some reason the carte vitale has not gone through. It is very important so keep it safe and handy too.
