brian
I am retired and intend to live in France. I understand the Forms needed BUT I have an artificial leg that needs constant adjustments to the fit - how do I manage this in France?
Val_2
I don't think you will have any problems there provided you inform the Caisse Maladie and your Mutuelle of this ongoing problem of having to visit a specialist. France is most definately not a backward country where all branches of medicine is concerned and there are many prosthetics shops about so the problems of false limbs etc are well recognised. The only thing is that it may affect your Mutuelle in the terms of which cover to take out as 100% may not be sufficient but discussing it with the two offices should put your mind at rest.
