thehydes
HiAs a diabetic now living in France, I have been to the doctors and registered, got my cart. vitale etc and my ALD form has been sent off. I have paid for insulin but don't know if I need to send off the receipt to CPAM or will it go straight to my bank? How long to wait for a credit to the bank?Any help appreciatedTrickie
Sunday Driver
If they swiped your carte vital, then the reimbursement will credited to your bank straight away. If they didn't, and gave you a brown 'feuille de soins' form instead, then you'll need to fill this in and post it to your CPAM to receive the reimbursement. Until your 100% cover is approved, the non-refundable part of the medication cost will still be down to you (or your mutuelle, if you have one).I assume your ALD hasn't yet been approved and processed. When is has been, you'll receive a fresh paper attestation showing the new 100% cover together with instructions to update your carte vitale - your pharmacist will do this for you.
