ams Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 It would appear to me that Sarko is determined to raise the % of house owners in france by making lanlords sell their houses at a loss. His minions have now introduced more legislation by slight of hand to reduce the annual rent increase from its previous basis to another basis which has the result of reducing the already low augmentation from 2.76% to 1.11%. With inflation running at in excess of 3%, this represents just another blow to the rental sector in france. The recent imposition of useless certificates for energy consumption coupled with a reduction in the rental deposit from two months to one month, is in the opinion of the UNPI the start of a rapidly declining rental market. ams Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
