Mr Coeur de Lion
Looking at buying a property here to rent out (now the prices are getting nice and low). When renting out, what outgoings can be expected? ieWho pays tax d'habitation & foncier (I think it's called)? How much does the government steal, I mean take in terms of percentage? Is landlord insurance possible? (ie if the tennant breaks his agreement and refuses to pay or smashes the place up, is insurance available to cover that)Real estate agent fees for handling the rental? And any other fees I may have forgotten about. Many thanks. Mr Coeur de Lion
Many thanks. Skimming through there are a few things that are different compared to what we are used to by, renting our properties in Australia. Some good, some bad. We'll no doubt be referring to those sites over the next few weeks as we await the selling of our property in Oz.
