Suandpete
Just wondered if anyone could tell me the French words for weight-bearing and non weightbearing. I have ordered a couple of medical phrasebooks but they haven't yet arrived and I can't find the translation even in my super huge dictionary. Suandpete
Thanks Wooly. What I really mean though is how to discuss with a doctor whether or not I will be "weightbearing" or "non-weightbearing" after an operation - and I can't find what seems to be appropriate in any of the on-line dictionaries. Âme
whether or not I will be "weightbearing" or "non-weightbearing" Su, I'm sure somebody would have attempted to help further but this is a bit confusing. Can a person can be non-weight bearing? A leg or a joint, yes ...but a whole person? [8-)] ... unless you're having liposuction? [blink]
moonraker
Non-weightbearing = sans appui. For a whole person to be non-weight bearing he, or she, would need to be floating in space!
