Changing retirement age

I know that French Health care became free of charge at the point that you reaches statutory retirement age in the UK( subject to maybe having to have top-up health insurance),bur now that the retirement age for women is on a sliding scale for those not yet 60 at what age are you eligable for free health care? Is it 60 or is it the date that you become eligable to draw your state pension in the UK?

You are eligible for an S1 (E121 as was) when you are in receipt of a UK State retirement pension.  Thus, yes, the age at which the UK pays for your healthcare, varies now for women according to the date of their birth.  It's not free, as you say, but you get the same entitlement as a French person and thus a top up is still advisable.
