CeeJay
My wife suffers from COPD and has been taking Atrovent inhaler for some time and as prescribed by her GP in UK. We are now part of the French system with a carte vital and have been getting an ordinance from our Doctor for Atrovent. However we have been informed by the pharmacy that there is no need to get an ordinance as Atrovent is non-reimbursable. I have searched the web for details of this and find that almost in all countries a prescription is needed to purchase this, but it seems that France is on a limb here!I would be grateful to know if other users have the same experience, please PM me if you wish. BJSLIV
The reimbursement is at 15% for Atrovent. It was reduced last year. I thought you still needed a Prescription. http://www.pharma69.info/actualites/200-m%C3%A9dicaments-d%C3%A9rembours%C3%A9s-la-liste
