JRdeVries
Hello,I am planning on moving from Canada to France. What is required in order to obtain French healthcare coverage; business ownership, legal residency? If I want to move my elderly parents, what should I consider? Thanks. idun
Your questions are far too vague. I would not want to hazard an answer, as I do not know what nationality you are or your parents, or your wife.As I said in another reply, ask the french embassy in Canada, they will know all the regulations. What I can say is that if you are not working in France, or running a business and paying into the system, OR are over retirement age with an S1 from another EU country, then you will have to have private health insurance. Remember no one knows, as yet, how the Brexit vote will affect the S1 system.
