slowfox05
We've switched banks, internet provider and mobile phone contracts in the last year and all have been seamless and economically good value. Is it simple to change assurer (we have our mutuelles, car & house insurance all with the same company)? Same question for electricity provider? Thanks.
EuroTr@sh
Usually your new insurer will arrange things with your old insurer.Depending on your contract and when you took it out, there might be a specific procedure to follow but again, your new provider will know all the details. One comment about mutuelles, sometimes it is more expensive to switch because your initial quote is based on your age group, and sometimes as you move up through the age groups your premium doesn't increase significantly. Some mutuelles do that as a way of retaining customers. But you'll see when you get quotes.
Hereford
Mutuelles for health cover: As we have just found some will not take you if you are over 80... They cannot ask questions on your help so they go for age instead.
