woolybanana
My local lab is doing the nasal test every afternoon, free. I assume everywhere else is doing the same?Thought I had better have it done close to Xmas as daughter and grandchild are gonna try and come down. alittlebitfrench
Unless they do the same it becomes pretty pointless. No ?We were having this discussion today. We have a plethora of relatives that we need to invite/don't want to invite for Christmas. What do we do ? If you invite one, you need to invite the other.I think our family Christmas meal alone could actually create another lockdown in France in January. LOL. So yeah, it is just us and the kids this year.
woolybanana
My daughter and grandchild will get themselves tested and then isolate until they come down here. It would be difficult to have a full family here under covid circumstances, so I think that you, madame and the brood is the safest option.
alittlebitfrench
I get the feeling that everyone will have everyone around for their xmas lunch. And then during the meal people will complain about the spread of Covid and the governments response to the pandemic.Without doubt, most houses around here will be packed out. I personally would not book a February ski holiday. If peeps don't behave, we will be back in lockdown quite soon.
mint
Wooly, in the event that your family can come from Belgium to join you, for Christmas, here is the answer to what you were asking about the PCR beforehand:Tests avant Noël ? So, it looks like you may not get the test and in fact it may not be necessary?
woolybanana
How am I supposed to know if I have been near an infected person? They dont wear labels or badges or wear big signs round their necks. One has a test to make sure, surely?
