Jlo
Is it possible to buy a cheap French VCR to receive the French TV Signal and then play it through a UK TV?Is a French TV Licence required for a permanant residence and/or holiday home? Helios
If your equipment isn't ancient you should be ok, I record stuff on my French VCR and it plays fine on my English TV. As to the licence, if you've bought a TV in France you will eventually receive a bill for said licence because the shop registers your name and address and has to send it to the relevant authorities, if you've brought the TV over from England then just keep quiet! At worst you will only get a black and white image.
