Dwebs
Sorry to change the subject, does anyone know what language my PC will speak if I buy in France, my French is OK but I don't want to spend all my time sorting out problematic computer programs in French. Will
It will have French language versions of Windows, Works, Office etc though if you really can't cope with that you can buy English language programs instead. But don't worry - if I can manage anybody can and it's a good way of improving your French Will (50)

Ckeywood
If you buy a PC in France it will speak French. If you want it to be in English, Windows will need to be re-installed from scratch. If installed in English, at a later point you can use a French keyboard by changing the settings from the control panel. You cannot change the Windows language once installed. If your machine came with a recovery disk, this will probably be language specific. If it came with a Windows disk then it can be re-installed in the required language. If you have any other questions relating to PC's then don't hesitate to contact me.
