Jgrix
We are moving to Aude in July and have just spoken to company who are going to install dish. He has advised me that Sky+ will not work in France.I would be grateful if someone can confirm this and if there is anyway around the problem. Nick Trollope
The problem is with the 'phone connection. If you have a "contract-free" Sky+ box, then it will work as a "personal DVR".Nickhttp://www.aplaceinfrance.com
AnnM
Don't ask me any of the technicalities, but I know my son has Sky + in Monte Carlo, so it must be possible.

VandA
If you buy a non-subsidised sky+ box then you just need a 'second-hand' contract. Customer service will tell you this doesn't exist but if you persevere(sp?) you will get someone who knows what it is. That way you don't need a phone connection...
