Kevinmc
Isn't it true, you can never find it when you need it.I need the short cuts for accented letters and my brain has died.Searched for 'keys' 'french' and 'character' in this forum and came up with zilch. Anyone got the inbfo readily to handThanks in anticipation
Will
If you tick the 'search archive' box when doing a search you will come up with quite a few choices. This one lists the most commonly used accents.http://www.livingfrance.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=1276&forum=DCForumID28&archive=yesWill (50)Forum moderator
Kergano
You can use the Character Map in Windows. To find it go from Start to Programmes, then to Accessories and then to System Tools. If it is not there you may have to install it using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. I keep the icon on my desk top as it has the characters which are not present on my French keyboard. You copy and paste the characters into your document.ian
