Thanks Tim[/quote]I cannot give you an answer, but I know where to pose this question and almost certainly get a fast response. Go to this site, register and then go to the satelitte forum.http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/index.phpBaz
BJSLIV
Telecom 2b was finally scrapped in June 2004. If your concern is about the ongoing reception of French TV, then fear not as it's work was taken on by Atlantic Bird 3, (Formerly Stellat5).There is still no news as to when this service will cease. As it's main purpose is to feed the terrestrial transmitters, it is likely to continue for some time, especially as the launch of Digital TV in France is painfully slow (Now scheduled for Spring 2005?????). Rumours continue that TF1 may start encrypting some of their programmes to protect International Rights., c/f BBC on Astra.....So there is no need to sign up to TPS just yet.
