Am not sure whether it is the connection I have here as 8 times out of 10 I am having Dial-up problems. On average it takes me up to 20 mins to connect and more often than that I lose the connection. Leschenauds Posted October 20, 2004 Share Posted October 20, 2004 I've had an account with 9online [not sure if that is the same thing) for nearly a year now and in thjat time only been unable to get on line 5 times but always got on trying 10 minutes later - far better than the ones whiuch I found useless, AOL and the very worst, Tiscali.I also have a backup with free.fr bvut haven't needed to use it with 9online. LesLauriers Posted October 20, 2004 Share Posted October 20, 2004 We occasionally have a problem connecting at peak times, after school or as people come home, but in general terms it is OK.We are now on ISDN (Numeris) and the connection is normally fine with just the odd loss of connection, however before ISDN the line dropped regularly and our normal connection speed of 33kbps fell as low as 9kbps.What connection speed are you getting?
