Diana Posted November 3, 2004 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Back in the summer I signed up to AOL, but as we are there so little it is not worth paying the monthly charge.I have looked on the french site but cannot find where to go to cancel the standing order, so I went to the UK AOL site to try and find it there for comparison but it seems totally hidden there too. So how do I cancel and how do I arrange a pay as you go account in France. I have also found out that AOL broadband is not compatible with the Apple Panther opertating system so when we are there will want a provider who is compatible with Apple. SOSMACEM@aol.comThe phone line was in Paris, you might even get someone who speaks a bit of English. Ours didn't, but she was really truly nice! After dialing the number, press 3 if you want to cancel your subscription, and tell them "je veux annuler mon abonnement".Or you could write to them, the address is under "par courrier".
