lil
HiCan someone tell me how to go about getting a phone line put to our house and how much it might cost?
Will
Contact your local France Telecom office or shop. If there is an existing line to the house it's about 30€, for a new line about 48€ if I recall correctly. Or you can contact France Telecom's English speaking line mentioned in this topic: http://forums.livingfrance.com/shwmessage.aspx?ForumID=18&MessageID=55288

The poles require the permission of the commune or landowners or both. This is not the only variable, it varies enormously from case to case. My neighbours were given many fictitious dates.
