Garyrcross
I have a GPRS phone which when connected to a lap top via bluetooth can access the internet in the UK. Does anyone know if this will work in France.CheersGary
Ecossais
You should be able to use your mobile to access GPRS when in France. You’d be best calling your network or looking on their website for details of pricing. For example, if you have an Orange contract phone the charge is £10.00 per mB. Mike1958
As long as you have roaming enabled on your SIM you will be able to use the functionality. I use both a mobile office card in my laptop which connects over GPRS as well as a BlackBerry that I use all the time.As the previous post states you will need to check which tariff you are on to give you an idea of your data allowance and cost.
